Drum cap seal tab seals
Drum cap seal tab seals provide effective tamper evident protection and closure for drums. Drum Capitals can be used on both metal and plastic drums and are available in plastic, metal, and plastic with aluminum rings. Drum Capseals are offered in 3/4″ and 2″ sizes. Ensure a tamper-evident seal of your drums and pails with Drum Cap seals, These lightweight metal crimp over the bung openings of steel and plastic drums with a special tool. To remove them, they must be destroyed, so it’s easy to tell if tampering has occurred. Application and removal tools are available to ensure the security of your filled drums and pails. To help make your drums stand out, we offer custom, full-color designed cap seals.
Steel cap seals are strong and tough, but a little more difficult to remove; the poly and tinplate ones are a bit easier to install and remove.
For each of these seals, you’ll need the proper crimping tool (they’re different for steel and plastic cap seals). And if your drum has both 2” and ¾” closures, you’ll need a crimping tool for each size. Below is the specification information of the cap seals we produce
Specifications of our Steel (metal) Cap Seals :
-Mainly used for 55 gallon and 200L oil drums, protect against pilferage or substitution of drums’ contents.
– Made from tinplate & tin-free steel of 0.3 mm thickness for the optimum sealing result.
– Top surface is white, colored, or with your company logo.
– Inner surface is lacquered to avoid corrosion.
– Inner edge has a vinyl gasket for better contact with the flange.
– Ears and scored lines ensure that the cap seal has to be destroyed before removal
